Hezi Sheli holds a 4th Dan in Hisardut and is one of the highest ranked and experienced Hisardut instructors in the U.S. Originally a combatant in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) he has gone on to work internationally as a security professional. Hezi has been a bodyguard for celebs and high profile individuals and currently trains the top security teams of Hollywood's A list celebrities. It is this real world experience which gives him the knowledge and the authority to talk about real world self-defense; what does work, what doesn't and more importantly why.

Hezi began instructing Hisardut (kids, teens and adults) at the age of 16 (Under VP Guy Hanover at the Be'er Sheva gym, Israel).

Hezi routinely travels to Israel to update his training and bring back the latest developments in self- protection and self-defense, so that his students receive the most modern training methods available, from a country where there are no opportunities for mistakes or second chances.

Hezi continually puts his skills and techniques to the test and in 2011 was invited to compete in the prestigious Hisardut Championship. Representing the U.S. Hezi competed and fought against a group of International and Israel's best fighters winning his division and bringing home Gold for the USA.
